Oct 5 Morning Canvass with Moms Demand Action Executive Director Angela Ferrell-Zabala

October 5 @ 9:30 am - 1:00 pm

Moms Demand Action Canvass with Executive Director Graphic

Come knock on doors of voters in Cobb county for Everytown-endorsed and Gun Sense candidates Laura Judge (Cobb School Board Post 5) and Micheal Garza (GA House D-46), as well as and Gun Sense Candidate JD Jordan (GA Senate D-56) as we look to engage voters ahead of the November election in three of the most competitive races in Georgia. Joining us will be Moms Demand Action Executive Director Angela Ferrell-Zabala!

We are meeting in the parking lot of Mzizi Coffee Roaster near Shallowford and Johnson Ferry road, and we will go over instructions and start going door-to-door together in teams of two. You can hear from Angela and the candidates around 10am, plus you can grab a cup of coffee or a pastry from this local business. We are all walking together – and new canvassers are welcome! We’ll be there at 9:30am to help new canvassers get setup with the phone tools needed to walk doors.

Canvassing is the best way to persuade voters to come to the polls for the November general election. No experience is necessary – just bring yourself, some comfortable walking shoes, water, sunscreen, and a fully charged cellphone. We will provide training if needed, a script, and the addresses of targeted voters in the area.

If you can’t canvass, please feel free to come out and say hi to the canvassers and candidates or learn about other ways to volunteer for our campaigns.
